The exhibition brings together 17 sensual works by artists from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Turkey, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Many of the works were specially created for this exhibition. They circle about the garden as a miniature cosmos of life, in all its splendor, but also fraught with brokenness. The Other Kabul is a site that is both poetic and yet close to reality, emerging wherever the coexistence of people, animals and nature wants to be newly defined.
