Tehran is made of thousands of cities.
People are living beside each other without knowing anything about their parallel life. In this megalopolis, different zones are created spontaneously by the migration of people from different sides of the country because of poverty or from different frontlines during wartime. These areas are isolated alongside the most modern construction in the city. Besides bridges, highways, and buildings. They are not located on official maps.
This Video is a ballad/navigation over Tehran’s map around these unofficial areas and invisible borders that separate and segregate people in various neighbourhoods.
A feeling of belonging to this city and being completely lost.
